In this webinar the fundamentals of compartmentation design will be given, explaining the concept and the importance of compartmentation to limit the spread of fire and how to evaluate the performance of vertical and horizontal compartmentation elements according to EN, BS and AS test standards.
The applicability of the results to real cases and how the design could be influenced by additional requirements will complete the training session. Architects and Engineers will receive the knowledge needed for a basic design of fire resistant partitions, ceilings, shafts and floors in buildings.

Cedric Masson is the global product manager for calcium-silicate boards of Promat. He is in charge of the development and testing of fire rotection boards and he is an expert in compartmentation.
