Dongbu is a cut-and-cover tunnel with OHVD (Over Head Ventilation Duct) along the length of the tunnel. The Cafco FENDOLITE® Mll (165 000 kg) was applied to the tunnel ceiling initially followed by the installation of the OHVD (a horizontal concrete slab). Once in place, we installed PROMATECT®-H 27,5mm (12 000 m²) onto the concrete OHVD. Impact on society will be greatly improved thanks to a more efficient traffic flow and transformation from road to a park as you can see in the before and after photos.
