PROMALIGHT®

Thin and lightweight microporous insulation

PROMALIGHT® are custom-made, thin and lightweight microporous insulation boards. They combine an excellent thermal and mechanical performance and are ideally suited for high temperature applications with severe space limitations.

The PROMALIGHT® range of insulation boards are available with a classification temperature of 1000 °C and 1200 °C, manufactured with different opacifiers and densities. They can be delivered in various coverings (PE and aluminium foil), which makes them clean and easy to handle and install. As an option an additional reinforcing layer of mica can be applied on both sides of the boards. This increases the compressive strength by around 30% and improves handling.
