One of the main natural resources in Chile is copper, so it is not surprising that some of the main drivers of the economy are linked to the mining industry.
Indeed, mining companies are expected to invest some MUS$ 91,000 over the next 10 years.

It was for this reason that we decided to develop a series of solutions designed specifically to meet their requirements.

This project involves the expansion of the mine corresponding to the Molienda y Confluenza building.

The idea was to install a series of F-120-standard firewalls inside the mine that would protect the existing steel structure. PROMATECT^®-H 12 mm boards were used on galvanised steel posts.

The project was entirely developed in conjunction with the engineering office and the Anglo American project department.
