A change in leadership

After a dynamic and successful career of 31 years at Etex, our CEO Paul Van Oyen has decided to leave the company at the end of his current seven-year mandate, at the end of 2021. Words cannot describe Paul’s amazing professional journey, from his appointment as a laboratory and project manager in 1990 until he became the group’s CEO in 2015. In this role, he has built a purpose- and people-driven performance organisation sharpening the leadership approach, launched the One Etex movement and sharpened Etex’s lightweight construction strategy.

Bernard Delvaux will succeed Paul following a transition period starting in September this year. Bernard assumed Senior Executive roles for over 30 years in large groups such as Bpost, Proximus and lately Sonaca, successfully developing their organic and non-organic growth and gathering extensive industrial operations experience.

Etex’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee and more than 11,000 teammates worldwide would like to thank Paul warmly for his long career and incredible achievements, and welcome Bernard to the Etex family!
