Applications

All the ducting in the 5660m² basement parking area utilized PROMINA®-60 boards for steel-cladded ducts, providing up to 2 hours of fire protection to ensure maximum safety.

Ductwork systems using fire protective boards are used for basement steel ducts to enhance fire safety by providing high fire resistance, maintaining structural integrity, ensuring occupant safety, and preventing the spread of smoke and toxic gases. It is also in line with compliance with building codes and regulations and protects property and equipment by containing fires and minimizing damage.
