50% recycled plastic in our cartridges
50% recycled plastic in our cartridges
As part of our ClearChange programme, we now offer grey coloured cartridges for our PROMASEAL® sealants with a recycled plastic content of 50%. The CO2 savings on the material used is 32% per cartridge. This means that one box with 12 cartridges saves 0,59 kg/CO2, and one pallet with 1488 cartridges already saves 73,56 kg/CO2. This assessment of the carbon footprint savings was done via the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and is related to the material itself: a virgin plastic cartridge compared to a 50% recycled content cartridge.
