Gombak Integrated Transportation Terminal, Selangor, Malaysia

The newly built Terminal Bersepadu Gombak or Gombak Integrated Transport Terminal (GITT) will serve as a new major transportation hub in the Northeast of Kuala Lumpur, dedicated for the Eastbound intercity buses as well as intracity buses for the Klang valley. GITT is strategically located next to the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) Highway and within minutes to the East Coast's Karak Highway, connecting to the Gombak LRT station, and the under construction East Coast Rail Link (ECRL).

Applications

PROMAPAINT®-SC3 water based intumescent paint was applied specifically to the structural steel components in the ramp area to provide a fire resistance rating of 2 hours, providing essential fire resistance for ensuring the structural integrity of the terminal in the event of a fire, meeting stringent safety and performance standards.
