The extremely low thermal conductivity and flexibility of our materials allow us to develop solutions that are up to four times thinner and significantly lighter than conventional thermal insulation. This enables you to optimise your application’s design and reduce shipping and installation times. We can combine thermal, fire and sound insulation into one tailor-made system to fully exploit the performance and advantages of each product and material.
Our comprehensive range of high-temperature insulation products consists of calcium silicate boards, flexible microporous panels and insulation wools. These are used for heat shields, partition walls, thermal and fire barriers, and for insulating outside walls, roofs, exhaust systems and batteries.

Promat’s passive fire protection solutions for railway applications are extremely flexible, ultra-thin and lightweight. This makes them the perfect choice for applications where available space is limited and additional weight must be kept to an absolute minimum. They allow for more design flexibility than traditional fireproofing materials without compromising on passenger safety or comfort.
Our flexible microporous panels, calcium silicate fire-rated boards , intumescent firestopping seals and textiles and wools are resistant to vibrations and thermal shock and maintain their integrity during and even after a fire. They can be combined in a customised engineered solution used for electrical cabinets, EI30-rated partition walls and fire doors, fire-resistant cable penetrations to EI30, fire barriers, fire-resistant cable ducts, ventilation and air conditioning systems, floors, batteries and data recorders.

Promat’s sound insulation systems for railway can tackle any challenge related to structural, vibrational, mechanical and ambient noise. Our high-performance and fireproof sound insulation materials are tested and certified to the highest industry standards (EN 45545, EN 13501), making them extremely efficient, safe and reliable. They can be used for complex shapes and applications with very limited space, offering you significantly more design flexibility than traditional acoustic insulation materials.

If you are dealing with a challenging fire protection project, our workshops are able to machine or manipulate our full range of products to meet any specification. Our in-house workshops offer CNC routing and cutting, water jet and laser cutting, coating, shrink-wrapping, heat-sealing under vacuum, cutting and stamping of laminates, and manipulation.
