Bank of Indonesia Data Centre 2, Karawang

The construction of Data Centre 2 in the Karawang area is led by Bank Indonesia. The project is estimated to be worth approximately IDR170 billion and is intended to strengthen the data centre infrastructure, reflecting its strategic importance. To meet the highest fire safety standards, the project utilised a 2-hour fire-rated DURASTEEL® partition wall, standing up to 8.8 meters high and covering 332.5 sqm as a fire barrier for the Data Hall area.  

Applications

DURASTEEL® composite board 9.5mm thick, was utilised to construct a fire-rated partition wall with a height of up to 8.8 metres, covering an area of 332.5 sqft. This high-performance solution delivers robust fire protection while offering resistance to high impacts and blasts, ensuring the structure's integrity and safety in critical conditions.
