As part of a broader initiative to expand affordable housing and recreational amenities in the Hong Kong Diamond Hill area, this undertaking comprises two key development phases, which include public rental housing units, subsidized sale flats, and a unique feature — an indoor basketball court featuring a steel structural rooftop. Noteworthy elements of the project incorporate state-of-the-art roofing structures specifically designed for the basketball court.

Applications

The Cafco SPRAYFILM® WB3 was deployed to protect the structural steel components of the indoor basketball court. This advanced material serves as a fire-resistant layer of coating, ensuring increased fire safety measures and preserving structural integrity in the event of a fire. The Fire Resistance Rating (FRR) achieved was 120/0/0.
