Promat offer an extensive range of fire-resistant glass with fire ratings ranging from 30 minutes up to 120 minutes (integrity (E) or integrity and insulation (EI)) for a wide range of applications. A fully tested fire-resistant glazing system delivers supply chain traceability by reducing the risk of product substitution, poor installation and misinterpreted specifications. Promat SYSTEMGLAS® was the first butt-jointed glazed fire protection system developed for the UK market with a history spanning over 30 years.
The system can achieve unlimited runs of aesthetically appealing glazing without any compromise to the fire resistance unleashing a variety of design options. The glazing, frame and components are tested together as a fully certified system and there are a variety of framing options, including steel, timber and PROMATECT®-H calcium silicate. The glass, framing and components are fire tested together as a complete certified system.

Promat offers expert insights into fire-resistant glazing specifications with the RIBA-Approved CPD 'The Burning Question'. The 60-minute seminar can be delivered at architectural offices in a 'lunch and learn' format and addresses a variety of topics including regulations and legislation, the importance of fire safety, classifications and how specify fire resistant glazing with confidence.
