Description
Dexcom Malaysia is an integral part of Dexcom's strategic growth plans, marking its expansion into Asia for the first time. The project is situated in Batu Kawan, Penang, and encompasses the construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems. Notable components of the project include multi-story cleanrooms, a warehouse with a dock leveler, a three-story Central Utility Building (CUB), a seven-story office building with a canteen and recreational area, as well as a seven-level multi-story parking structure.
Applications
PROMAPAINT®-SC3 was used to provide effective protection for a 1,800,000 sqft built-up area with steel structures, safeguarding the critical components of the Dexcom Malaysia facility. The intumescent paint acts as a fire-resistant barrier, ensuring enhanced fire safety measures and prolonging the structural integrity of the steel components in case of a fire. The project completed in Quarter 1, 2022.
